DANAFF Art-house Workshop & Project Market 2026 Officially Returns

The Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) was awarded a Certificate of Merit for its outstanding achievements in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism during the 2021–2025 term.

The 4th edition of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV) themed "DANAFF - Bridging Asia to the World" is scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 4, 2026.

The fourth Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF IV), themed “Bridging Asia to the world,” is scheduled to take place from June 28 to July 4, 2026, under a plan agreed by the Da Nang People’s Committee and the Vietnam Film Development Promotion Association (VFDA).

Within the framework of the Workshop & Project Market at DANAFF III 2025, numerous Vietnamese film projects have made clear progress, from script development to actual production, reaffirming the role of DANAFF Talents and Script Lab in supporting and nurturing new cinematic works.

In 2026, the Genre Film Project will return in a new format: Script Lab. This initiative responds to the growing demand for high-quality, production-ready screenplays.

On the evening of December 12 at the Pathé Palace cinema, the closing ceremony of the Vietnamese Film Week – The Journeyof Light took place in a solemn, warm, and emotional atmosphere. The event concluded after a vibrant week, gathering numerous artists, filmmakers, partners in Europe, and thousands of international audiences.

On December 8 at ParisTech Alumni (Paris), the roundtable “Strengthening bilateral cooperation between young Vietnamese and French filmmakers” took place as part of "Vietnam Film Week - The Journey of Light". The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) and AVSE Global, under the patronage of the Embassy of Vietnam in France.
