The DANAFF Workshop & Project Market is a key program within DANAFF Talents, under the framework of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF). DANAFF is an annual international-standard film festival co-organized since 2023 by the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) and the People’s Committee of Da Nang City.
The DANAFF Workshop & Project Market was launched at DANAFF III (2025), featuring two main categories: Vietnamese Film Projects and Asian Art-house Film Projects. The program aims to train and support promising film projects in advancing toward production, while connecting emerging filmmakers with the international filmmaking community.
In its very first edition, the DANAFF Workshop & Project Market received support from prestigious international film organizations such as the Motion Picture Association (MPA), the National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image of France (CNC), and the Malaysian training and mentorship initiative: mylab.
Several projects from the inaugural season have since progressed internationally and are set to be completed and released to audiences in 2026, including Flying Cows and A Little Dream of Me.
