On the afternoon of December 31st, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations announced the results of the selection of 15 outstanding literary and artistic events for 2025, include DANAFF III
The 15 most significant literary and artistic events include:
General Secretary To Lam presided over the meeting with representatives of intellectuals , scientists, and artists; a series of activities summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025); and a series of activities of the Literature and Arts Associations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
The songwriting campaign "Vietnam - Cuba, the song of solidarity and friendship will forever resonate"; the "Happy Vietnam 2025" festival; the 4th International New Music Festival - Vietnam 2025; the 6th International Experimental Theatre Festival, 2025; the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III);
The resounding success of the film "Red Rain"; the National Architecture Award 2024-2025; the political and artistic program "Homeland in My Heart"; the "V Concert - Radiant Vietnam" grand music festival; Vietnamese representative - singer Duc Phuc winning the Intervision International Music Competition 2025; the first Literature and Arts Times Novel Writing Contest (2023-2025); the "Coming to the Path to the Future" contest and the journey of spreading and promoting reading culture in the community.
The events were voted on in person at the Voting Ceremony for the 15 Outstanding Literary and Artistic Events of 2025, held in Hanoi on December 29th. The event was attended by representatives from the Vietnam Union of Literary and Artistic Associations, central specialized literary and artistic associations, representatives of artists and writers, and more than 30 journalists, reporters, and editors covering culture, literature, and art at central and local media outlets.
This is an important annual event that contributes to summarizing and recognizing the outstanding achievements of the country's literature and art after a year of activity.
